The McGregor ISD Board of Trustees has employed Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Executive Search Services to assist with the search for a new superintendent.  The Board has requested that school personnel and the public be involved in developing qualifications and characteristics of the person the Board should seek to become the new superintendent.

BOARD SEEKS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT FOR SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH PROCESS



The McGregor Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees has employed Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Executive Search Services to assist with the search for a new superintendent to replace Kevin Houchin, who is retiring from McGregor ISD.  The Board has requested that school personnel and the public be involved in developing the qualifications and characteristics of the person the Board should seek to become the new superintendent.

Community involvement meetings will be held on January 9, 2017.  The TASB search consultant will facilitate discussions with community members.  The schedule for the meetings is as follows:

•  3:45pm for MISD Faculty and Staff in the McGregor HS Commons
•  4:45pm for Community Members in the McGregor HS Commons

The McGregor ISD Board president encourages all members of the community to attend and share their thoughts and insights.  Even though meetings are designated for specific groups, each meeting is open to any interested person who wishes to attend.
